Cyrkus Vampyr Takes Over Old Sturbridge Village
For Final Dates of Phantoms by Firelight
| |
Sturbridge, M.A. – Inspired by the mythology of the mid-19th century “New England Vampire Panic,” Cyrkus Vampyr is the newest immersive theatrical experience to take over Old Sturbridge Village (OSV) during this year’s Phantoms by Firelight event. The performance tells the story of a mysterious group of performers who appear and begin to take over the Village, following the death of a local girl. Guests are invited to come and see these thrilling performers – visiting from the NYC theater and nightlife scene – for four final event dates on Oct. 28-30 from 4:30-9:00 p.m. and Oct. 31 from 5:00-9:00 p.m.
Written and directed by P.J. Griffith and produced by ClockJack Productions, American Circus Theatre and Old Sturbridge Village, Cyrkus Vampyr features thrilling stunts and exciting acts by cast members, including:
| |
|
Richard Hankes and Ashlee Montague
Classic ballet dancers turned world record holding circus performers, Hankes and Montague have performed in Cirque du Soleil’s Broadway Show Paramour among other accolades. They showcase their stunts in front of the OSV Towne House as acrobatics and extreme ballet duo Tatiana and Nikolai.
| |
|
Vittoria DiMeglio and Angele DiMeglio
This duo of fire jugglers brings the heat during their performance of skill, precision… and a little fire magic. Known as “The Sisters Faimme” Drusilla and Bianca, their show can be seen each night in front of the OSV Grist Mill.

|
Brian Klimowski
An actor and variety artist based in NYC, Klimowski brings his talent as a singer, juggler, magician and one-man yo-yo show to the Cyrkus Vampyr act. He appears as Magnus during Phantoms by Firelight, offering his talents to guests in the Town Common.
| |
|
Elana Valastro
After recently returning from a swing role on the national tour of Cats, Valastro joins the cast of Cyrkus Vampyr as a dancer, singer and actor. She debuts as Tasha and can be found at the OSV Schoolhouse and throughout the Village.

|
Bryce Crumlish
Every good traveling troupe requires a Ringmaster, and Bryce Crumlish fits the bill. An actor residing out of NYC, he takes on the role of Ringmaster Andrej at the Center Meetinghouse and throughout the Village, managing this strange group of offbeat acts.

Also making an appearance at the Village is accordion player Lisa Nichole Young as Masha and actor Laura Maramo as The Girl. | |
