Worship that Wows
Sermon Series

As we continue along our year-long theme of FROM MEMBERSHIP TO DISCIPLESHIP, we are spending a few weeks on one of the most important parts of the discipleship journey--WORSHIP! We will look at several of the aspects of worship that make gathering together as the family of faith so important and critical to our being able to go out into the world to make a difference. This coming Sunday, we will discuss the growth of worship.
August Mission Focus
Food Drive for WNN

The need is great for food items at Wynnton Neighborhood Network. The summer months have depleted their pantry serving 400+ clients a month. Our goal is to collect a minimal of 300 food items. Items needed: canned soup, fruit, vegetables, meat, tomato products and noodles, rice, mac & cheese, peanut butter and jelly . Place items on the mission cart in the hallway near the youth room. A printed list is available on the mission cart.

Summer of Gifts
Discipleship Emphasis

We are continuing our series of summer discipleship emphases with our "Summer of Gifts." In the welcome center, there are business card envelopes available for you to pick up. The envelopes contain business cards that say "this gift is given in the name of Jesus and from your friends at Epworth UMC." Place a $5, $10, or $20 bill in the envelope and look for an opportunity to give it away! These small gifts can have a huge impact on the receiver and giver.
