Learn Visceral and Lymphatic Balancing techniques from the best! Here's what a fellow therapist says about The D'Ambrogio Institute.
The D'Ambrogio Institute offers a complete package of evaluation, skills and application techniques for therapists of all levels to make an immediate improvement in their clinical treatments. As a Physical Therapist for 20 years and a manual therapy instructor for the Barral Institute, finding a teacher who can tailor class activities to my individual needs and help me to push myself further in class is rare. Kerry, the D’Ambrogio Institute curriculum developer and teacher, creates an environment with simple and successful execution of the new skills that I can take home and use immediately. And, his easygoing good nature will make your class time fun and memorable!

6-STEP LYMPHATIC BALANCING APPROACH
By Kerry D’Ambrogio, DOM, AP, PT, DO-MTP

As seen in Massage Magazine
1. Perform a total body evaluation.
Always start the session with a total body evaluation to determine if there are lines of tension in the body that are creating restrictive barriers to lymphatic flow.
If lines of tension are found, then treat with a total body balancing technique. Such a technique helps release lines of tension in the upper and lower extremities, cranium, spine, thorax, abdomen and pelvis that could be compromising the drainage pathway of the primary area of complaint.
2. Balance the four transverse diaphragms.
The transverse diaphragms (pelvic floor, respiratory diaphragm, thoracic inlet and tentorium cerebella) are all droppable-1548264087523oriented horizontally and, when restricted, can impede lymph flow, as well as other vital structures that impact blood (artery or vein), nerve and energy flow. To ensure unimpeded fluid flow, it is imperative to make sure these diaphragms are functioning correctly.
