Save the date, Saturday, Aug. 28. The Irish Community Bereavement Committee is hosting a Mass and Wake at the Shamrock Club to honor and celebrate the lives lost since March 15, 2020.

Families are asked to make collages, pictures or whatever they want to celebrate their loved ones.

We will begin at 4 pm with Mass and a candle lighting to honor those we lost.
The Committee will supply the main foods and have asked people to bring a dish to share.

We plan on pipers and the reading of the names. There will be a picnic outside on the beautiful grounds and have asked all attending to bring their own chairs and tables to set up where they would like. The event will include entertainment and more.

Most of us who have lost someone have not really grieved and what better way than the Irish way.

If you lost a loved one during the past year, please send their name to Mary Strickland at themightymary@gmail.com.

Donations are being accepted for the event. Please send to The Shamrock Club, 60 W. Castle Road, Columbus, Ohio 43207, Attn: Irene/bereavement.

We are looking forward to this night and of course all COVID-19 protocols will apply.

Thank you for your consideration, if you have any questions please feel free to give me a call 614-316-8278.

Mary Grady Strickland

Thank you ladies for shopping at Kroger and choosing to benefit the Daughters of Erin. Last month, we received more that $88. This money is raised from Kroger Cards registered through Kroger Community Rewards.

Signing up or registering your account is easy to do. The best part is that YOU still receive your Kroger rewards (coupons, fuel perks, etc) but behind the scenes, the Daughters of Erin receives a percentage of what you spend at the Kroger Store.
In the search field, type in Daughters of Erin or enter the organization # 81910.
Thank you for your support!
