Dear Daughters of Erin Members,
Welcome to March! It's almost Green Season and this year promises to be different!
Proclamation Day is Friday, March 12. Mass is at 8:30 a.m. at Saint Christopher Church, all social distancing and mask guidelines must be followed. The Mass will be live-streamed on the Saint Christopher Facebook page. Byrne's Pub is hosting a breakfast after Mass, but there is no public event for Proclamation Day at City Hall. There is a Fish Fry at the Shamrock Club at 5 p.m.
Saint Patrick's Day Mass is at 9:30 a.m., but there is no seating available due to the size of the church, at this time. If seating opens we will share with members. Mass will be live-streamed on the Saint Patrick's Church Facebook page. We will send updates if there are events at the Shamrock Club or Tara Hall.
The Cultural Committee is wondering if you're interested in Zoom events with Irish speakers. If you are, please send me an email to me at mckoprs@yahoo.com. I've heard from a few of you but we really need more interest to make this possible.

DAUGHTERS OF ERIN BAKE SALE & EASTER GOODIES
We are planning a Bake Sale fundraiser for Easter weekend - the usual day of our Easter event.
Please consider making items for our drive-thru Bake Sale at The Shamrock Club of Columbus on Saturday, April 3. We are asking for at least 10 bakers in each category. We need 2-3 dozen cookies or brownies or type of homemade candy from each baker. We do not need scones!
Please review the categories (cookies, breads, brownies and candies) on Sign-up Genius and click on the button to sign up. Please sign up no later than Tuesday, March 9 so we can know how many items we will receive.
Items can be dropped off at the club on Friday, April 2 from 1 to 2 p.m. If you need other pick-up or drop-off arrangements, please contact Sharon Tantes, 614-361-8590. Thank you!

MEMBERSHIP DUES
Annual membership dues are $10 for Junior members (under 18 years of age) and $20 for Regular members (ages 18-79).
Honorary members, age 80 and over, although you do not have to pay dues, we ask that you still complete a membership form.

THE IRISH PUB, free movie on YouTube
The Irish Pub is a eulogy to the greatest institution in Irish society, the pub or more specifically the traditional Irish publicans who run them.
