Central Ohio's Largest Irish-American Women's Organization
"American by birth, Irish by the grace of God!"
Dear Daughters of Erin Members,

Thank you for all of your prayers as I recovered from COVID-19. I still don't know how I became infected but I caution you and your families to stay safe. Fortunately, I am much better without any residual effects from the small blood clot in my lung. Again, thank you for your prayers and well wishes.

Thank you also to Sharon Tantes and the team that made the January Board and General meetings possible. Typically, the Member of the Year is named at the January meeting. This year this will happen at the February meeting.

The Cultural Committee is wondering if you're interested in "attending" Zoom events with Irish speakers. If you are, please send me an email to me at mckoprs@yahoo.com.

Save the date for the February meeting, Saturday, Feb. 14 at 2 p.m., via Zoom. Watch for details.

Please join us!

We have selected Easthaven Elementary as our school this month to assist the teachers with supplies. Each child must have their own supplies and this has put a huge burden on the teachers.

Sign-up on the following link to purchase needed items:

We are also collecting new or gently used children books for an ongoing donation to Franklin County Job & Family Services. The books are given to children of families that are in great need. Please contact Cheryl Costello at 614-774-8879 for pick-up arrangements.

May love and unity surround all people. May all be healed, especially those affected by the coronavirus. We also pray for all those in the military, police, healthcare workers and our government leaders.

Be part of a Prayer Group to slow and stop the Coronavirus:
Father God, in the mighty Name of Jesus, we come to You asking for forgiveness of our sins and healing of hearts and minds all over this world. We are standing and trusting in Your promise. You said in Your Word that by Your stripes we are healed. We ask for the coronavirus to be eradicated from our bodies and land. We humbly ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. We pray a special blessing of protection over the ones who are on the front lines, risking their own lives to help others. And bless those who are reading this prayer and passing it on to others. In Jesus' Name. Amen

If you are interested in receiving a call or calling a member to check in from time-to-time, please email Carolyn Collins at cacgilly@hotmail.com. Thank you.

Thank you ladies for shopping at Kroger and choosing to benefit the Daughters of Erin. Last month, we received more that $88. This money is raised from Kroger Cards registered through Kroger Community Rewards.

Signing up or registering your account is easy to do. The best part is that YOU still receive your Kroger rewards (coupons, fuel perks, etc) but behind the scenes, the Daughters of Erin receives a percentage of what you spend at the Kroger Store.
In the search field, type in Daughters of Erin or enter the organization # 81910.
