NEWS FROM THE FOUNDATION

Library Foundation Hosts 3rd Annual Pub Crawl!

Last week over 450 people attended the Redwood City Library Foundation’s 3rd Annual Upscale Pub Crawl celebrating Banned Books Week. The 17 participating pubs offered a variety of discounted beverages and small bites and displayed posters highlighting two banned books. Foundation representatives at each location were available to answer questions about the books and the Banned Books Week celebration.

Heard at one location: "This is the best reason to have a pub crawl. Reading is everything."

Thank you to all who attended, and a huge thanks to the participating pubs and to our sponsors and volunteers! We could not have done it without you! Go to Events | rcfldn to see the complete list of sponsors and pubs, along with photos from the event.

Proceeds from the Pub Crawl support RCPL initiatives. You can always support the Library by donating here at any time.
