Dear District 113 Parents/Guardians, Students, Staff, and Community,
Survey - New Superintendent Profile - Deadline Extended until Wednesday, November 15
The District 113 Board of Education is extending the survey window to ensure that all who wish to participate in the survey have the opportunity to take it. The District received a few reports of difficulty accessing the English language survey between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m., November 9 using the email reminder link. The cause of the disruption was due to an outage during that time at the email service provider.
About the Survey
The District 113 Board of Education wants your input about the qualities important for the new superintendent to possess. We would appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill out an online survey that has been extended through November 15. Survey results will be incorporated into the Community Engagement Report and New Superintendent Profile that will be presented to the Board on November 28. Thank you for your assistance and support with this very important task.

Focus Group - One Parent/Community Session Remaining - Tuesday, November 14 at 7 p.m.
The Board of Education is now faced with the task of hiring a new superintendent. To assist the Board with this endeavor, the Board has hired Dr. Kevin O’Mara and Dr. Linda Yonke, consultants with SCHOOL EXEC CONNECT, a search firm that specializes in assisting Boards of Education in their search for a new superintendent. They have recommended that the Board audit the District’s strengths, challenges, and goals and determine the attributes a new superintendent should possess to be successful in our District.
Please assist the Board with this audit. As a District 113 parent, guardian or community member, you have important perspectives to share.
