Online TLI Club Officer Training

The first round of club officer trainings is fast approaching. To prepare we recommend you:

Gain confidence in your role and being part of a leadership team
Hear new ideas and offer your ideas to others
Take away tools and resources to be successful in your role
Help meet your club’s Distinguished Club Program goals through valuable, required officer training
Make a quick commute in your own home and be finished by lunch or dinner!

Club Officer Training counts towards DCP goal #9. All clubs should strive to have all 7 of their officers trained between June 1^st and August 31^st.

District 18 District Executive Council (DEC) Training

In this training, we will dive deep into the strategies and tactics you as incoming District Leaders need to lead your clubs, Areas, and Divisions to Distinguished status.

District Leadership training is required for all incoming Area and Division Directors.

Membership Drive

1. Contest runs May 1 to June 30

2. Applications and payments must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than June 30

3. Qualifying clubs earn a discount code for 10% off their next club order

Clubs adding 5 new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between 5/1 and 6/30 receive a Beat the Clock ribbon to display on the club’s banner.

Qualifying clubs also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)

Applications and payments for members with a join date between May 1 and June 30 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than June 30. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count toward Beat the Clock credit.

All Officers

Conduct executive committee meeting with each officer reporting on activities, accomplishments, and plans
Review the club’s goals for the current year Distinguished Club Program
Begin Club Success Plan 2022-2023
Attend Summer TLI
Ask members to serve on committees for the incoming Toastmaster year

Create Budget for 2022-2023 Toastmaster Year

Review sign-in sheets and verify appropriate messages and invitations are sent to guests

Sergeant-at-Arms

Facilitate and verify all scheduling for meetings (virtual, in-person, hybrid) and make sure that members have appropriate appointments and information to attend
Manage and maintain club equipment and materials
Set up and break down required materials for each meeting
