Barrington 220 weekly COVID-19 update
April 26, 2021

Dear Barrington 220 Community,

As we head into the final month of the 2020-21 school year, we want to remind everyone how critical it is to continue following COVID-19 mitigation efforts. As you can see in our COVID-19 Dashboard, we continue to have new cases among students each week. Please remember the 3 W’s so that everyone may have a successful and healthy end to the school year.

  • Wear a mask
  • Watch your distance
  • Wash your hands
COVID-19 vaccine available to all IL residents
All Illinois residents age 16 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Remember, however, that eligibility does not mean availability. It will take time for everyone to have an appointment available to them. Families and high school students interested in making an appointment can visit the following websites to register:

ICYMI: Virtual/Blended Information Session recording

Upcoming Board of Education meeting
The next regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting is Tuesday, May 4 at 7pm. The meeting will be held in person at Station Middle School.

The number of people in the room will be limited to 25% capacity, as suburban Cook County and Lake County are in Phase 4 under the State’s Restore Illinois Plan. The livestream of all meetings are viewable via the Board's YouTube channel.
