Barrington 220 weekly COVID-19 update
May 3, 2021

Dear Barrington 220 Community:

As a reminder, all Illinois residents age 16 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Remember, however, that eligibility does not mean availability. It will take time for everyone to have an appointment available to them. Families and high school students interested in making an appointment can visit the following websites to register:

Please note, as of April 30 all people ages 16 and older who register on the Lake County Health Department’s AllVax Portal and who live, work, or attend school in a Lake County school district, are now automatically able to schedule an appointment. BHS students interested in registering should use their school email, if they don’t live in Lake County.
Proposed Virtual/Blended Program
District leaders have been reviewing the data collected through a questionnaire in Infinite Campus which was sent out to all families regarding a proposed Virtual/Blended Program for next school year. The questionnaire closed on April 29 at 5pm. The Board of Education will view a presentation and discuss the data at the Board meeting on Tuesday, May 4 at 7pm at Station Middle School.
Upcoming Board of Education meeting
The next regularly scheduled Board of Education meeting is Tuesday, May 4 at 7pm. The meeting will be held in person at Station Middle School. Click here to view the agenda.

The number of people in the room will be limited to 25% capacity, as suburban Cook County and Lake County are in Phase 4 under the State’s Restore Illinois Plan. The livestream of all meetings are viewable via the Board's YouTube channel.
