The Annual Sunrise Run Goes Virtual
Registration is now open!
Run your own race anytime between September 12-October 12

The 2020 Sunrise Run on the Greenway is going VIRTUAL from September 12th to October 12th! Registration is now open for you to run your own race. You can register for a 5K or 10K anytime between now and October 12th. The virtual race will open on Saturday, September 12 (the original race date) and will end at 11:59pm on Monday, October 12. Run the 5K or 10K at any point during the month and then submit your times in your Run Sign Up profile. Run anywhere in town, state, or country! The original race routes will be included online for those interested in running the usual route.

Swag is available for each and every runner. Sign up and receive a custom race t-shirt, customized medallion from West Union Art Studios, Adventure Bound Books and Pepsi swag. When signing up please indicate if you'd like to pick up your swag bag in person OR if you would like it mailed to you (an additional mailing fee will be added).

Author Event with Annette Saunook Clapsaddle

Ticketed Event - $30 (includes copy of the book)

Join Adventure Bound Books as they welcome Annette Saunooke Clapsaddle back to Morganton, this time for the release of her novel "Even As We Breathe"!

This author event is a ticketed event (covers the cost of a copy of her book, taxes, and processing fees) and seating is limited (if NC moves into a new Phase for businesses and activities and we are able to increase the number of seats, we will do so).

Annette will open the event with a reading from her novel followed by a discussion of her writing journey and a Q & A time with the audience.

If you feel safer at home, you can choose the online ticket option. Log in information will be emailed to you on September 18th and your ticket also gets you a signed copy of the novel which will be available for contactless, curbside pick up the following week. You may also choose the shipping "add-on" to have your book mailed to you after the event.

Additional copies of the novel will be available for purchase at the event and in-store if you'd like to pick up a gift for a friend or family member!

Join Emily Elder for a lovely yoga flow class at the beautiful Silver Fork Winery. The class is open to all levels. We will limit attendance to 12 students to allow for proper physical distancing.

The weather should be perfect but a little cool so dress accordingly. We will meet on the lawn by the tasting room but may move down below to the covered area at the event space should Sally leave the ground a bit too wet for our practice.

All students must preregister using the link below or by visiting www.breatheyogawellness.com/evnts. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate drop-ins. Just bring your mat! The cost of this event is $12.00.
