Please join us for the inaugural AGRN2020 Conference – a free online event on 12th October for stakeholders from research, higher education, industry and government to connect, network and discuss current developments in German-Australian research cooperation.
The platform is online and available for networking until mid 2021. Recordings of parts of the event will be made available via the platform.

This scholarship offers funding for projects in the area of design and planning. Lasting 10-24 months, the scholarship is suitable for foreign applicants who have gained a first university degree in the areas of Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development, Regional Planning, Landscape Architecture & Landscape Planning.

Enabling former scholarship holders (with at over six month's previous funding) to maintain contacts as part of DAAD's global alumni network and to carry out research and working projects in Germany. Provides between 1-3 months funding.

Foreign Universities: The DAAD kindly asks all project leaders and member universities to cancel all DAAD-funded trips to Germany until further instruction. The DAAD apologies for any inconvenience caused, and will generally endeavour to seek accommodating arrangements for the projects/stays funded. Alternatives such as postponing the stay/project, or undertaking them virtually is recommended. Further information (in German)

The DAAD Information Centre (IC) in Sydney

In light of continuing and developing public health orders of New South Wales, our Information Centre in Sydney has closed until further notice. However, like many in response to COVID-19, we continue to work remotely and remain available for all concerns and queries through e-mail, phone and teleconferencing during normal business hours, Mondays to Fridays.
