EMGIP Bundestag Internship

EMGIP (Émigré Memorial German Internship Program) offers internship opportunities for U.S. and Canadian students in the German parliament, the  Bundestag . The internships are two months long and student interests are matched with the position.  Application by September 15, 2018.

US students who have gained a first university degree in the areas of Architecture, Interior Design, Monument Conservation, Urban Planning/Urban Development are eligible to apply for the Study Scholarship in Architecture to pursue a Master's degree in Germany . Application by September 30 2018.

Call for Project Proposals
RISE Worldwide

Research groups, labs and doctoral students can apply to host a motivated and well-qualified student from Germany. The German intern will assist in research and lab work for the proposed project. The students have academic training in the STEM fields and receive a DAAD scholarship to help cover expenses and travel costs.  Submit by October 15th, 2018.

Meet DAAD Alumna Saskia Schälicke

Saskia spent one year as an exchange student in Montreal with a DAAD scholarship. After completing her Master’s in Physical Geography, she returned to Canada where she now works as an Education Abroad Advisor at the University of Calgary. Since 2016 she has been part of the DAAD Alumni Board Canada.

1) Submit your application online through the DAAD portal.

2) Send your letter of recommendation in a sealed envelope by mail to our DAAD New York office.
