EMGIP Bundestag Internship

EMGIP (Émigré Memorial German Internship Program) offers internship opportunities for U.S. and Canadian students in the German parliament, the  Bundestag . The internships are two months long and student interests are matched with the position.  Application by September 15, 2018.

Call for Project Proposals
RISE Worldwide

Research groups, labs and doctoral students can apply to host a motivated and well-qualified student from Germany. The German intern will assist in research and lab work for the proposed project. The students have academic training in the STEM fields, and receive a DAAD scholarship to help cover expenses and travel costs.  Submit by October 15th, 2018.

Responsibilities include advising students on studying in Germany, representing DAAD at various events and conferences, and producing content for our English-language newsletter and website.

DAAD's 2018 Faculty Summer Seminar recently came to a close, after six weeks of exploring the ties between literary criticism and media studies. Drawing North American postdoctoral fellows and faculty from across the continent, the seminar provided an opportunity for intellectual exchange in the humanities. To do this, you have to register in the DAAD portal. First, select your chosen scholarship program and then the tab "Application portal." Please note that this tab is only visible in the period in which it is possible to apply for this scholarship program or when the DAAD portal is open for applications.
