Over the next several months, we will be looking to present online information sessions at Canadian universities on DAAD's funding programs for faculty, postdocs and doctoral candidates. For information on how you can have such a session at your institution, see below.
Coming up on February 1st is the deadline for our Group Study Visit program to support the travel of student groups to Germany during the upcoming summer semester. Full details below.

Le 1er février prochain est la date limite pour notre programme de Voyages d’information pour groupes d’étudiants afin de soutenir le voyage de groupes d’étudiants en Allemagne au cours de la prochaine session d’été. Pour plus de détails, voir ci-dessous.

Group Study Visit
The DAAD's Group Study Visit program offers financial support for subject-related academic information visits to Germany organized by faculty members for groups of students. This program is open to all fields of study and is intended to both introduce students to facets of modern / contemporary German life and bring them into contact with their student peers in Germany.
Student participants should be at the Bachelor or Master's level, and the group must be made up of between 10 and 15 students (not necessarily from the same university). Support takes the form of a per diem payment of 50 euros per participant. Trips must be a minimum of 7 days in length; financial support can be provided for up to 12 days.
The next deadline to DAAD's Group Study Visit program is February 1, 2021. Applications submitted to this deadline are for support of visits scheduled to begin between June 1st and September 1st of this year.

Voyages d’information pour groupes d’étudiants
Le programme de Voyages d’information pour groupes d’étudiants du DAAD offre un soutien financier pour les visites d’information sur des sujets universitaires en Allemagne organisées par des membres du corps enseignant pour des groupes d’étudiants. Ce programme est ouvert à tous les domaines d’études et vise à la fois à faire découvrir aux étudiants les facettes de la vie moderne/contemporaine allemande et à les mettre en contact avec leurs pairs étudiants en Allemagne.
Les étudiants participants doivent être au baccalauréat ou à la maîtrise, et le groupe doit être composé de 10 à 15 étudiants (pas nécessairement de la même université). L’aide prend la forme d’une indemnité journalière de 50 euros par participant. Les voyages doivent durer au minimum 7 jours ; un soutien financier peut être accordé pour une durée maximale de 12 jours.
La prochaine date limite pour le programme de Voyages d’information pour groupes d’étudiants du DAAD est le 1er février 2021. Les demandes soumises jusqu’à cette date limite concernent des visites qui doivent avoir lieu entre le 1er juin et le 1er septembre de cette année.
