Short-Term Research Grant
DAAD's
Short-Term Research Grant
supports stays in Germany by PhD candidates and recent postdocs for between 1 and 6 months. These grants are open to scholars working in any field of study. PhD applicants must be at the ABD ("All but dissertation") stage, while applicants with PhDs must have received this degree within four years of the application deadline.

La
bourse de recherche à court
terme
du DAAD soutient les séjours en Allemagne de doctorants et de post-doctorants récents pour une durée de 1 à 6 mois. Ces bourses sont ouvertes aux chercheurs travaillant dans n’importe quel domaine d’études. Les candidats au doctorat doivent posséder un statut ABD (toutes les exigences satisfaites, sauf la thèse), tandis que les doctorants doivent avoir obtenu ce diplôme dans les quatre ans suivant la date limite de présentation des demandes.

Research Stay
program offers
full-time faculty at Canadian universities
the opportunity to apply for
support of a research visit to Germany of between 1 and 3 months in length
. This grant is open to faculty in all fields and provides a living allowance designed to offset expenses while in Germany. It does not include a travel allowance.

du DAAD offre aux
professeurs à temps plein des universités canadiennes

. Cette subvention est offerte aux professeurs de tous les domaines et fournit une allocation de subsistance destinée à compenser les dépenses engagées pendant le séjour en Allemagne. Elle ne comprend pas les frais de déplacement.

are scholars and scientists in North America who have conducted advanced long-term research projects in Germany and are interested in promoting research in Germany at their home universities and among their peers and students.

provides international students with answers to their questions about pursuing studies at a German university. Visitors to the portal will find details on everything from programs of study, entrance requirements, application procedures along with information on the logistical aspects of relocating to Germany for an extended period.
Complementing the portal is the
Study in Germany's YouTube channel
which features contributions from vloggers from around the world who are currently studying in Germany. These students examine all aspects of their experience in their new surroundings, both on and off campus, in an entertaining and informative way.
