November and December see a flurry of application deadlines for a number of DAAD scholarship and grant programs with full details on these found below. Students considering PhD studies in Germany should take note of the "Science Online Career Fair" taking place on November 7th as it provides a rare opportunity to ask questions related to doctoral studies directly to representatives of more than 20 German universities and research institutes. Deadline: November 5, 2018 Study Scholarship for Master's Studies DAAD's Study Scholarship supports graduates of Canadian Bachelor programs doing Master's level degree studies at a German university. Students from most fields have an application deadline of November 5th. Students in fields of Fine Art, Design, Visual Communication and Film have a deadline of November 30th. Full details on DAAD's Study Scholarship, including information on how to apply, can be found at www.daad-canada.ca/study-scholarship  Dates limite : 5 novembre 2018 Bourse d' é tudes de Master  La bourse d’études de Master du DAAD  offre du soutien aux étudiants canadiens détenant un BA en vue de faire des études de Master à une université allemande. La date limite pour les candidatures de la plupart des disciplines sera le 5 novembre. Pour les étudiants en beaux-arts, musique, cinématographie ou architecture la date limite sera le 30 novembre. Deadline: November 5, 2018 Research Grants for PhD Students / Postdocs The DAAD Research Grant program supports PhD students carrying out dissertation-related research in Germany for stays of between 1 - 10 months. Postdocs may apply for DAAD support of research stays between 1 - 6 months. The next deadline for applications to the Research Grants program (both short and long stays) is November 5th . Date limite : 5 novembre, 2018 Bourses de recherche  La subvention de recherche du DAAD soutient des étudiants au doctorat effectuant des recherches reliées à leurs thèses pour un séjour de recherche d’un à dix mois. Les post-doctorants peuvent poser leurs candidatures pour un séjour d’un à six mois. La prochaine date limite pour les subventions de recherche (court et long séjour) sera le 5 novembre . Deadline: December 1, 2018 University Summer Course Grant DAAD's University Summer Course Grant supports Bachelor, Master's and PhD students with at least two years of university-level German language instruction with a grant to help defray the costs of participating in a 3-4 summer course offered by a German university. The deadline for applications for summer schools in 2019 is December 1st . Full details on this opportunity, including information on how to apply, is available online at: www.daad-canada.ca/summer-course Date limite : 1 décembre 2018  Bourse pour un cours d’été  Les bourses du DAAD pour un cours d’été offrent du soutien aux étudiants en licence, maîtrise et doctorat ayant au moins deux ans de l’enseignement de la langue allemande au niveau universitaire à participer à un cours de langue de 3 à 4 semaines offert par une université allemande.   La date limite pour les candidatures des cours d’été en 2019 sera le 1 décembre 2018 .   Trouvez tous les détails sur cette possibilité et les démarches de candidature au www.daad-canada.ca/summer-course/fr.

November 18-21, 2018 DAAD at CBIE DAAD Toronto's Director, Dr. Nicola V öhringer , will be in attendance at the annual conference of the Canadian Bureau of International Education taking place in Ottawa from November 18 - 21. In addition to contributing to several conference panels, Nicola will be available to meet with attendees interested in exploring opportunities for raising awareness of study and research opportunities in Germany on their campus.To set up a meeting with Nicola, please write: [email protected] . 18-21 novembre 2018 DAAD Canada au BCEI La directrice de l’office du DAAD à Toronto, Dr. Nicola Vöhringer, sera présente au congrès annuel du Bureau Canadien de l’Éducation Internationale qui aura lieu le 18 au 21 novembre à Ottawa.   Nicola contribuera à plusieurs panels de la conférence et sera disponible pour un rendez-vous aux participants du congrès souhaitant explorer les possibilités d’études et de recherches en Allemagne et accroître la sensibilisation au sujet de ces possibilités à leurs institutions.
