Copyright: pexels.com German Science Organizations have issued a joint statement in response to US-President Trumps's executive order on immigration: "The executive order signed by the President of the United States this past Friday is a sweeping discrimination of human beings based on their ethnicity and consequently also an act of aggression against the fundamental values of science." The German Organizations - among them DAAD, the Max-Planck Society, the German Research Foundation, and many more - will be paying close attention to the resulting consequences for the global academic community as the legal battle over the executive order continues.
