DAAD Film Screening: Agonie by DAAD grant holder David Clay Diaz
The film chronicles the mysterious events of a murder which are somehow intertwined with the lives of two young men in Vienna. The film premiered at the Berlinale in 2016 and received the Bavarian Culture Prize. A panel discussion with the director will follow the screening. Reserve your free tickets now!

Sound Understanding Concert
Sound Understanding is DAAD and the DAAD Alumni Association's annual concert showcasing the young, talented DAAD music fellows from Germany who have spent the past year studying at music schools in the US and Canada. The music fellows are selected in a national competition among the best students of Germany's renowned music colleges.

Call for Applications - Young Ambassadors Wanted!

DAAD is currently accepting applications/nominations for the 2017-18 Young Ambassadors Program. It is an exciting program for undergraduate students from North America who have recently studied or interned in Germany and are interested in promoting study in Germany at their home institutions with the help of DAAD and in close cooperation with their universities’ international/study abroad offices. Please visit our website for more info on eligibilty criteria and application modalities. The application deadline is April 15th, 2017.

Germany ranked top destination in Europe for international students

Have you been thinking about studying abroad - perhaps even in Germany? If so, this recently published study may be the last push you need to apply to universities in Germany. www.Study.EU's ranking of countries in Europe revealed that Germany scores highest across all dimensions: Quality of Education, Cost of Living, and Career Opportunities. According to Study.EU, "Germany scores highest: With 83.2 points, it is positioned well before the runner-up, the United Kingdom, at 69.8 points. The NetherlandsFrance and Sweden make up the remainder of the top 5."
