DACC In The News

Swanger Takes First Place in Writing Contest

Congratulations to Barrett Swanger, an 8th-grade student in the DACC/BV Career-Based Intervention Program. Barrett took 1st place at the VFW Patriot's Pen competition, in which he submitted an essay focused on his assistance with the annual Veteran's Day Assembly held at Buckeye Valley and why veterans should be honored throughout the year.

DACC Staff & Students Donate to People In Need (PIN)

Students from DACC collected canned goods, clothing, and needed supplies for the annual Holiday Clearing House event through People In Need (PIN). By bringing in the most amount of items, students in the Bioscience program earned the privilege to deliver the items to the Delaware County Fairgrounds, where they toured the facilities and learned more about the great resource in Delaware County.
