Autumn Driving Tips.jpg

October 1st, 2022

DACC Students and Families,

With colder weather coming, don't forget these important tips:

  1. Dress for the weather. Even if you plan on spending most of your day at school inside, remember that the occasional fire drill might require you to stand outside in the cold.
  2. Drive safely. Whether it's fog, wet leaves, or snow, the roads can be slippery and dangerous as the weather changes. Review these Autumn Driving Safety Tips.
  3. For our bus riders, remember to stand back from the road when waiting for the bus. As it gets darker in the morning, it can be difficult for drivers to see you.
  4. It never hurts to revisit our school delays & closings procedures.

Student Fees

Delaware Area Career Center 2022-23 Fees are listed on our high school webpage. An overall list of all program fees can be viewed here. The deadline to pay school fees was September 30th. If you missed this deadline, please work to get these fees paid as soon as possible.

Checks should be made payable to Delaware Area Career Center noting your student’s name and lab in the memo section. Fees can also be paid online through PaySchools Central using a credit card. Here is a step sheet to assist in this process. In order to use this option, you will need to know your six-digit student number which will be on your student schedules. Returning students will have the same six-digit number as last year.

You may also set up a payment plan to help break the payment up into smaller payments. To set up this payment plan, please contact Lilian Robinson at 740.203.2230 or robinsonl@delawareareacc.org.

Free and Reduced Lunch Form: You may be eligible to have all or part of your student fees waived except for your CTSO dues. Students will need to apply annually at DACC even if they have already applied at the home school. DACC must have our own form completed separate from your home school. Please click HERE to access the application.

Bully/Harassment/Safety Reporting

DACC strives to provide a safe and inclusive educational environment for all students daily. Students have the ability from their Google Homepage to report bullying, harassment, and safety concerns 24/7 through two options.

The first option is to report it directly to school administration by clicking on the report link during school hours. This is a secure webpage only for students after logging in with their Mydacc Google Credentials.

The second option is available 24/7 by calling/texting an anonymous tip line through SaferOH (844.723.3764). We ask that if it is related to school safety after school hours, that you please contact the local police department as well.

View DACC's Board Policy on Bullying here.
