DACC Students and Families,

Earlier this week, our teachers held their annual Advisory Committee Meetings and while holding a meeting may not sound exciting, these meetings have a powerful impact on our district. Business leaders from all over Central Ohio met virtually and in person to talk about how, together, we can provide the best possible experience to our DACC students. These professionals are invested in what a career tech education can provide to students, as well as how our students will have an impact on the future of their industries.

We value these business partnerships and appreciate our staff for the time they invest outside of the classroom to foster and maintain these professional relationships.

Fall Flu & COVID Vaccine Clinic
DACC, in partnership with the Delaware Public Health District, will be offering a Flu and COVID Vaccine (including the Pfizer booster) Clinic on
  • October 26th from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m.
  • October 28th from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.

Appointments will be required. Find more information and register online here.
Suicide Resources for Parents
DACC students recently attended educational training on depression and suicide prevention.

Ask your teenager/child if they have or are having suicidal thoughts. Don't be afraid to say the word "suicide." Getting the word out in the open lets your teenager know you care. This is an excellent way to show them that you are responding to their cries for help.

Cafeteria Notice
Due to food supply shortages from suppliers, changes to the DACC breakfast and lunch menus may occur without notice. DACC Cafeteria management is working closely with food suppliers to avoid any disruption and we apologize in advance should this be required.

Access the cafeteria menu on the DACC App or on our website here.
Personalized Learning Plans
Every DACC student is unique - they each come to us with their own history, knowledge, challenges, advantages, and goals. There is no single college and career path that will fit everyone, which is why our DACC staff work with each of our students on the creation of a Personal Learning Plan (PLP).

PLPs guide our students through a series of activities and lessons that help them learn more about themselves, identify their strengths and weaknesses, consider and document their plans upon graduation, and research opportunities to grow as a professional and as an individual.

Parents - Get the DACC Experience
If you've ever wanted to find out why your child enjoys coming to DACC every day, see for yourself what they experience, and learn a little more about their career ambitions. In select programs, we are offering evening classes for adults, including:
Auto Essentials - Oct 12
