What Military People Are Saying
From a recent discussion with a military officer:
• I am forced to put on a mask at work every day. The mask is not a physical one like we had to do with COVID but a cultural one. My faith, my values, and my very identity, even though founded upon the essence of our nation and the military, are not respected.
• In war I cannot trust my senior leadership to lead the fight as a warrior.
• In good conscience I cannot recommend the Air Force or the military to young men and women because of the poor leadership that has proven to recklessly abandon the principles of war, costing the needless loss of lives.
• The culture within the Air Force has degraded so far that it is not possible to turn it around from within. IF the Air Force in particular, and the military at large, are to be salvaged, the changes will have to be from outside.
