Almighty God, look on this your daughter, Kris, lying in great weakness, and comfort her with the promise of life everlasting, given in the resurrection of your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Holy God, whose peace passes all understanding, we pray that in your good time you will free Jim from all earthly cares, release him from pain, and grant that he may come to dwell with all your saints in everlasting glory, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord.
