Members may pay their dues through the league website: the password is -  dal -  OR the pink dues card will be mailed by March 1st. 

PLEASE REMEMBER: Any member, whose dues are in arrears after the general meeting on April 8th, 2019, will be charged a late fee of $10. Any member whose dues are in arrears after May 31st, 2019 will be automatically dropped from the membership and must be re-juried in as a member
Candidates for Officers

Ron Rizzi - Candidate for President
Along with the varied experience, Ron Rizzi has orchestrated many non profit charity events for different organizations over the years. Muscular Dystrophy, Heart Association and Brain Tumor Research. Cars shows, Motorcycle Shows, Music Shows and events that included judging, promotions and logistical organization with municipalities to host outdoor events. The largest event hosted 1700 motorcycles. Car shows in the 300 range. I have also worked at Children’s Health and Care and was a high school teacher in Atlanta for Business Law.

Howard Sherman - Candidate for Vice President
Howard Sherman, a Delray Beach resident, is applying for the position of vice president in the Delray Art League.He is an exhibiting artist, educator, therapist and professional musician. Currently, he is actively engaged in supporting advertising for indoor and outdoor DAL shows. 

His relevant work history includes over 35 years of soliciting to administrators for the building of consultation programs in psychology and expressive therapy services for hospitals, clinics and nursing homes. He continues to offer workshops to adult education institutions, and clinical settings, which he has done since 1975.

Mr. Sherman is a board certified music therapist and was a licensed mental health counselor. His philosophy is to convey an empathetic and assertive approach to a leadership role in the art league. He states this is imperative to help maximize the potential of the art league and its' members to successfully work within the valuable cultural and educational scene in South Florida. 

He would hope to build upon existing successful rapport with business and city organizations in the community to allow for ongoing cultural and educational opportunities through the arts.

Kathi Stamm – Candidate for Treasurer 
I have a background in working for Non-Profit businesses, fundraising, facilities organizer, operations management, computer science and accounting. I have owned and worked in my own businesses for over forty years.

Prospective exhibitors must be juried in for the shows at Old School Square as there is a wait list and only fifteen openings.

With your application, send a picture of your booth with art in it. Six pictures of your art in jpeg format.  When you are accepted, you will receive an email with instructions to pay your insurance fee via PayPal.

Gay will be there at 2 pm on Friday for setup. Show opens on Sat. at 8:30 am and 10:00 am on Sunday. Artists can be added on Saturday afternoon for Sunday as the green market leaves on Saturday by three. All shows are facing Atlantic. No more Second Ave.

No Racks or City Racks will be allowed per OSS. White tents will only be allowed.

Sandee Berman, DAL exhibit chair , is also Vice President of the Color Pencil Society of America, Fort Lauderdale Chapter. They have a 2 Day Colored Pencil Workshop by Barbara Dahlstedt on March 23 and 24th. Download flyer .
