August 2020
Message from the Executive Director
Dear Community,

The Domestic Abuse Project of Delaware County entered August with extreme excitement because DAP’s Board of Director’s approved our list of Core Values. These Core Values will serve to craft our culture, our vision, and influence our impact moving forward. In February 2020 the staff and board began a process of identifying values that we felt were imperative to our identity as an organization, and as a community.

During the winter months staff from various departments within the agency formed a Core Values Committee They led the work of defining our values with active collaboration from the staff and board.

I look forward to carrying out these values in our daily work with staff, clients, community members, funders, donors, partners, and stakeholders across sectors. I especially look forward to seeing how it influences service delivery and organizational culture. I continue to be proud of the work DAP does on a daily basis, and the lasting impact it has on so many individuals and families. Please review our Core Values list and share your feedback!

Thank you all for believing in and supporting the work we do.

Thank you,
Julie Avalos
Executive Director
