Students arriving back from winter break at the
University at Albany were welcomed with some exciting news: the completion of a $2 million Health & Counseling Services Center on campus -- the first of its kind in the SUNY system.
The relocation of the state-of-the-art facility, designed and constructed by DASNY,
provides students better access to health, wellness, and psychological services.
The move was
part of a project DASNY completed to renovate Beverwyck and Schuyler Halls on the Dutch Quad. Together, the renovations totaled more than $33 million.
“Our successful partnership with DASNY is resulting in a top-notch facility that delivers quality health care, so our students can thrive on campus and beyond,” said SUNY Chancellor Kristina M. Johnson.
