RIDING THE
OHIO TO ERIE TRAIL
August 5 - 12, 2018

Thank you for your interest in Rails-to-Trails of Wayne County.
This 8 day series about the OTET ride will be sent daily from August 5 - 12.

Special thanks to organizer and promoter Keith Workman
for taking us - and you - along on this journey!

Margaret at the (CLEveland) 163 railroad Mile Marker   just east of London, Ohio.
We awoke to rain, but it quit early and dried off. We did decide to leave earlier than planned due to chance of thunder and storms this afternoon,
but we arrived at our destination at 2:15 and no rain in sight.

Tomorrow could be different though!

Today we rode the
Roberts Pass Trail, the Camp Chase Trail and the Scioto Trail.
Roberts Pass Trail
Grain silos on the Camp Chase Trail.
The Camp Chase Railroad services the grain silos between London and Columbus.
The Trail is a trail with rail, as the trail shares the right-of-way
with the railroad going to Columbus.

A dam on the Scioto River as seen from the Scioto Trail going into Columbus.

Lunch in downtown Columbus.

Alum Creek Trail, north of Columbus.
Notice the fellow on the right taking time to wave at us as we rode by!
