DAYC-2 and HELP Assessment

This six-hour workshop will focus on the effective administration and scoring of two common testing tools; the DAYC-2 Assessment and HELP Checklist.

The DAYC-2 assesses children up through six years of age, while the determination of the Developmental Age Level (DAL) of children, using the HELP Checklist, assesses children from Birth to Three years of age.
This presentation will include discussion of how to incorporate professional, informed clinical opinion when testing scores do not adequately reflect a child's strengths and challenges. Additionally, the presenter will discuss how to incorporate families into a testing session, and how to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to accurately portray "the whole child."
