To all HFHT Employees:
We launched phase 1 training of our new HRIS system, Dayforce, on Thursday, July 14. Please complete your phase 1 training as soon as possible.
We are now moving on to training phase 2 - YAHOO! Thank you for your patience as we worked with our Dayforce consultants to migrate all of your data from Synerion - it was a complicated process that could only happen in real time!
You can now learn how to view your absence balances and request time away from work. Stay tuned for phase 3, where we will explain more about your timesheet/schedule and explain how to do your activity reporting. For now, please keep track of your activities elsewhere.
Please do not use Dayforce to adjust your work schedule in any way (i.e. changing the start and end times on the Timesheet or the Calendar). Please only use Dayforce for what you have been trained for so far.
KEY POINTS ABOUT YOUR ABSENCE BALANCES & REQUESTS:
- Any absence requests you made in Synerion by July 8 are in Dayforce.
- Any absence requests you made via email to your manager which were then submitted to our Dayforce team are in Dayforce.
- Our payroll team is in the process of comparing balances that were in Synerion to Dayforce to ensure everything is accurate. Some of your absence requests might need some adjustment so don't fret if something doesn't look right - we are working on it!
- Included in the training below is how to view your absence balances and check for upcoming approved absences in the system. If you have any concerns about your absences, email Dayforce@HamiltonFHT.ca.
- Once you finish the training below, you can begin entering absence requests in Dayforce. This is the process you will use moving forward.
Reminder to hourly employees and those whose only role at HFHT is to facilitate groups: You will not have absence balances/will not request time away from work (i.e. sick or vacation time) through Dayforce.
Sincerely,
HFHT's Dayforce Project Team
