Women Connect Network
November 6
Lewes Yacht Club
| | | |
I'm excited to invite you to join us on Friday, November 6, at the Lewes Yacht Club for our next Women Connect Networking Event, a day dedicated to engagement, empowerment, and connection.
One of the things I value most about Women Connect is the opportunity it provides for women across Delaware to learn from one another, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships. This year's program will focus on Work-Life Integration, a topic that resonates with so many of us as we navigate the demands of our careers, families, and personal lives.
I'm especially looking forward to our panel discussion, moderated by Jennifer McClain, featuring Tarrie Miller, Andrea Filbeck, and Courtney Sendek, who will share their perspectives on building successful careers while maintaining the flexibility, resilience, and support systems needed to thrive both personally and professionally.
We'll also hear from Dr. Lauren Rosen, whose presentation, Pour Into Yourself, will explore sustainable personal leadership and wellbeing. Her session will serve as an important reminder that investing in ourselves is essential to our long-term success and ability to lead others effectively.
In addition to these thought-provoking discussions, we'll enjoy a networking breakfast, interactive vendor showcase, and lunch, offering plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues and expand our professional networks.
Register today and be part of a community that supports, encourages, and uplifts women throughout our industry.
Friday, November 6 | 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

| Ask the Fed: Wind and Solar Update | |
Following up on the August Ask the Fed® Oil and Gas session, the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas continues its analysis of energy trends and the U.S. energy infrastructure with a focus on the evolving landscape for renewable power generation. The renewable energy sector is now navigating the practical realities of operating under revised federal incentives while also racing to meet surging electricity demand. Grid interconnection considerations, permitting timelines, and financing costs are increasingly determining which projects move forward as artificial intelligence-driven power needs reshape demand forecasts.
In this 75-minute session, Cameron Barrett, Senior Business Economist, will examine the latest trends in U.S. utility-scale and residential solar development. Kunal Patel, Senior Business Economist, will discuss evolving dynamics in onshore and offshore wind markets. Matt Adams, Examiner, will explore trends in syndicated lending for renewable energy projects and the sector’s significant growth. SungJe Byun, Senior Research Economist, will address key risk management considerations for banks engaged in renewable energy lending.
As always, we are interested in your questions. You can submit your questions in advance of each session using the following link: Ask the Fed® Wind and Solar Update Question Submission or by email at questions@askthefed.org. Questions received in advance will receive priority.
