DBA Members Honored in Delaware's Top Workplaces 2022!

Seven DBA Members and Associate Members have been honored in the 2022 News Journal Best Workplace Awards. In the large company category (400 or more employees) Capital One Financial CorporationWSFS Bank, and Discover Financial Services ranked in the top ten (three, six, and seven, respectively). In the mid-size category (100 to 399 employees), Morris James LLP ranked fifth. In the small company category (less than 100 employees), Santora CPA Group (4th); Belfint, Lyons, & Shuman, P.A. (9th);and, Connolly Gallagher (10th); were recognized. Congratulations to all the honorees!

PNC Bank Names Greg Miraglia

Delaware Market Executive, Wealth Director


PNC Bank announced that Greg Miraglia will assume the role of Market Executive for Delaware. In addition to serving as Market Executive, Miraglia is assuming responsibilities for leading PNC Private Bank as Wealth Director for the market.

The promotion to Market Executive marks a homecoming of sorts for Miraglia, who began his career in Delaware. He joined PNC in 2016 and established a record of success as a Senior Relationship Strategist in Philadelphia, leading client teams and customer service initiatives in the local market. Prior to PNC, Miraglia served in a variety of client facing and leadership roles for several local and nationally branded financial institutions.

During this session, Vice President Nathan Kauffman and Assistant Vice President Nicholas Hatz of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City, will discuss recent developments in agricultural markets, credit conditions, and supervisory implications. 


Economic conditions in agriculture have rebounded dramatically the past two years following multiple years of prolonged weakness prior to the pandemic. Despite this improvement, however, agricultural markets have been volatile in 2022 with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and slower economic growth in the U.S. and globally. The presenters will share information of interest to agricultural lenders who are seeking to gain a better understanding of the economic and financial environment in U.S. agriculture amid heightened uncertainty and emerging risks for the year ahead.

OCC to Host Virtual Innovation Office Hours


The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) announced that it will host virtual Innovation Office Hours on September 28–29, 2022, to promote responsible innovation in the federal banking system.


Office Hours are one-on-one meetings with representatives from the OCC Office of Innovation to discuss financial technology (fintech), new products or services, partnering with a bank or fintech company, or other matters related to responsible innovation in financial services. Each meeting lasts no longer than one hour. Interested parties should request a virtual Office Hours session by August 26, 2022, and are asked to provide information on the topic(s) they are interested in discussing with the Office of Innovation. The OCC will determine specific meeting times and arrangements after it receives and accepts the requests.
