Taylor Bank’s Cory Walsh Receives the Lighthouse Award from the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce

Taylor Bank is proud to announce that Cory Walsh, Assistant Vice President, Loan and Business Development Officer, was recently awarded the Lighthouse Award from the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce. The award was presented at the Chamber’s Annual Member Celebration, held Thursday, November 18, at Cripple Creek Country Club in Dagsboro Delaware.
The Lighthouse Award is the most prestigious award the Bethany-Fenwick Chamber presents, chosen by the chamber’s board of directors; it recognizes a longtime chamber member that contributes remarkable leadership and devotion to both the chamber and local community. Walsh served on the Chamber’s board of directors from 2013 – 2020. During his tenure with the Chamber he has held numerous positions, including three years as Treasurer, Vice President, President and Past President. For over five years, Walsh has volunteered as soccer coach for River Soccer in Roxanna, Delaware. He also volunteers for Lord Baltimore Lions Club and has served as Assistant Treasurer.

The Delaware Bankers Association & Delaware Financial Education Alliance has partnered with Andy Keusal with Keusal Learning LLC to offer two new online Breaking into Banking videos:
- Breaking into Banking 101: Fundamentals of Commercial Banking - ten learning modules, over 5 hours in total content
- Breaking into Banking 201: Analyzing Repayment Sources - nine modules covers topics including how to analyze income statements, balance sheets, collateral, and risk rating.
Each module includes a video lesson and a multiple-choice self-check. Many of the lessons include exercises/case studies for learners to work through that are related to a sample company outlined in the course’s Reference Guide.
