There are still 46 classrooms available for 2024 Teach Children to Save Day! This year's event, the 26th annual, is April 15th through 19th. Over the years, Delaware’s bankers have taught an important lesson on saving to over 240,000 kids. Teaching is fun and easy, with complete materials and training provided. Third Time’s the Charm? Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Requirements Proposed for Registered and Exempt Reporting Investment Advisers

On February 13, 2024, the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (“FinCEN”) proposed anti-money laundering compliance obligations for certain investment advisers (the “Proposal”). As proposed, investment advisers registered, or required to be registered, with the Securities and Exchange Commission, as well as investment advisers that report to the SEC as exempt reporting advisers, would be subject to AML compliance obligations. In this Legal Update, we provide background on the current US AML compliance framework, including the role of investment advisers in it, as well as a summary of the Proposal.
