Do & Be Arts Academy of Excellence, DBAE – a free K- 8th-grade public charter school that gives students a space to discover, understand, and use their voice through arts-integrated academics and the performing arts.

DBAE‘s mission: is four-fold, 1) to empower students to use their creativity,

2) to think outside the box and make the change in the world they want to see,

3) to achieve academic excellence, and 4) to broaden their perspectives through the arts.

**Message from the Executive Director**

Dear DBAE Families and Supporters,

Happy December! We are grateful for your ongoing support, attendance at our events, and engagement on social media.

Here are some important updates for December:

1. Enrollment for 2025/2026 School Year: We are now enrolling students, and we anticipate reaching full capacity by the end of April. We encourage you to sign up today!

2. DBAE Family Voice Committee: Launching in March 2025, this committee will provide valuable input for school planning and activities.

3. Hiring Opportunities: We began our hiring process on November 15. Available positions include:

- School Operations Manager

- Special Education Teacher

- Classroom Teacher

- Specialist Teachers (for our August 2025 opening)

- Intern positions in Marketing/Communications, Curriculum Development, Visual and Performing Arts, and Community Engagement Research.

Join us for a virtual fair on December 7 from 10 AM to 1 PM to learn more about the School Operations Manager position.

4. DBAE Explore Program: Join us on December 18 at the Alexander Library for holiday-themed activities.

We have many exciting community events planned for December, and we would love your help as volunteers. Stay connected with us on social media—find us on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok @dobeartsacademy.
