In honor of Developmental Disabilities Awareness month, DBHIDS Intellectual Disability Services, in collaboration with DBHIDS Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, will host a screening of the Pennhurst documentary to increase awareness and advocacy and promote equitable support and training for our workforce and community. Participants will view the documentary and attend a panel discussion to learn and preserve the history of individuals with lived experience, support workers and family members.
