African Women's Development Foundation Inc and Hope Floats Initiative invite you to the 3rd Cameroon Medical Missions Luncheon and Mini Conference coming up April 16th in Maryland. Support Cameroon Medical Missions and together we can pave the way towards better health care for Cameroonians in need. The Multi-phased Mission includes a medical supplies donation program, a team of Physicians consulting in clinics and performing minor surgery. This year the Mission will be based in the city of Limbe, serving the South West Region and in 2012 the mission will serve North West and Western Regions.

CAMEROON MEDICAL MISSIONS LUNCHEON CHAIRMAN:
Dr. Joseph Nkwanyuo
We are very honored to have the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award Winner Dr. Joseph Nkwanyuo, a great Cameroonian-American Physician and Humanitarian based in Maryland as the Chair of the CMM Luncheon and Mini-Conference. Dr. Nkwanyuo will deliver the Keynote address for this event. Theme: "Paving the way towards better Health Care for Cameroonians in need" CMM Luncheon / Mini Conference Speakers Dr. John Nkengasong Chief of the Global AIDS Program's International Laboratory Branch at the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, Ga. Dr. Nkengasong is an Advisory Board Member of AWDF Inc. Dr. Aretha Makia A Physician specialized in Obstertrics and Gynacology with a practice in Maryland. Dr. Makia spends a lot of her time seriving communities in need through Medical Missions. She is one of the few Cameroonian American Physicians who flew out to Haiti to serve during the humanitarian crisis there. Dr. Makia is a relentless supporter of AWDF Inc Programs. Dr. Kenneth Geh A Cameroonian-American Physician, a great Internist with based in Maryland. Dr. Geh is interested in promoting better health care for Cameroonians and has been very supportive to the Cameroon Medical Missions Initiative. Mr. Akin Afolayan A dynamic and forward thinking Nigerian-America, a Professional Architect with interest in eco-freindly health care infrastructures, Founder and Executive Director of Hope Floats Initiative, working in Partnership with AWDF Inc for the 2011 Cameroon Medical Mission which will serve the South West Province with base in the City of Limbe. Lady Kate Njeuma Cameroonian-American, Professional Nurse at John's Hopkins Hospital MD, President and Founder of African Women's Development Foundation Inc.

Health Centers and Clinics to Benefit from 2011 Cameroon Medical Missions Medical Supplies and Equipment Program. The $250,000 worth of contents in the 40ft Container donated by MedShare International will be distributed to several Health Centers in the South West Region. Please find below a list of Clinics, Health Centers and Hospitals to benefit from the CMM Medical Supplies and Equipment donation Program. Representatives from these communities will share important Health care information during the Luncheon.  - Limbe Regional Hospital, Limbe Bota Annex Hospital and Limbe Mother Baby Center, Down Beach.
