The Detroit Summer Scholars Summer Bridge Program provides an opportunity for a select group of Detroit high school seniors from the class of 2022 to get a jumpstart on their college career and ensure that all necessary steps are completed for successful enrollment.
It is an 8-week program that will take place virtually from June through August. Students will be assigned a college coach to support them during the program and receive a stipend upon successful program completion.
The Summer Bridge application opens March 1, 2022 and the deadline to apply is April 1, 2022.
There are no GPA, test score or letter of recommendation requirements and the program comes at absolutely no cost to students.
