Prioritize Your Wellbeing
May is Mental Health Awareness Month. Mental health has always been important, but now more than ever we need to find ways to support ourselves and each other. This pandemic has taken a huge toll on everyone's mental and emotional health.

This month, DCAN will be posting mental health tips, activities, webinars & events, giveaways, and more for students and educators! Be sure to keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram!

DCAN also has a Mental Health Toolkit that includes resources, activities, tips, and more.
The Celebration Continues!

May 1st marks College Decision Day! We are celebrating this week by revealing a citywide Decision Day video on Friday, May 7th! Thank you all for sharing this information with students. We received a total of 27 student videos!

We are also sharing tips for making a final decision from us and partners on our social media channels this week. DCAN is encouraging all schools and programs to participate in College Decision Day by highlighting your students' postsecondary plans. Remember to use the hashtags #DetroitDecisionDay and #CollegeBoundDetroit.

To support you with celebrating senior success, check out the decision day toolkit and tips for students making a final decision. Happy Decision Day!
