The College Board Opportunity Scholarships are now open! College Board has laid out a series of college readiness steps and are awarding small scholarships for each step completed. Students who complete all six steps are eligible to receive a $40,000 scholarship for college. Two students from Detroit received $40,000 for Fall of 2021.

The first scholarship closing date is June 30, 2021! Remember, students must complete ALL steps to be eligible for the final award. Please encourage all of your juniors to apply to the first step: Building Your College List.

Colleges may or may not be requiring a COVID vaccination for attendance in the Fall of 2021.
