To inspire, empower, and support people to achieve their full potential.
From the Superintendent
Kristine Hodge
As you likely know, October is National Disability Employment Awareness Month. As an agency we have been honoring this month through sharing successful employment stories, connecting the people we serve with employment resources, and collaborating with Delaware County Jobs and Family Services through their Ohio Means Jobs initiative.

This year, we have seen a 10% increase in adults served by the Board working in the community. Through awareness months like this and continued Employment First advocacy efforts, we know that number will continue to rise. Employing people with developmental disabilities not only grows our local economy but it strengthens the bonds of our community. I hope you will join our efforts in celebrating National Disability Employment Awareness Month!
Block Party
We had a great turn out for our first-ever block party to celebrate 50 years of County Boards of Developmental Disabilities. To see pictures from the event, visit our Facebook page.
