2017-2019 Strategic Plan Progress Report
December 31, 2019 will mark the official end of the 2017-2019 Strategic Plan. DCBDD is proud of the many achievements that were accomplished through the work of this three-year plan. 2020-2022 Strategic Plan Adopted
During the Board Meeting on December 12, 2019, board members unanimously voted to adopt the proposed 2020-2022 Strategic Plan. This new plan will guide the work of DCBDD for the next three years. Plan details will be shared in the January edition of the Perspectives Newsletter.

DODD Family Resource Survey
The Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) is asking families of people with disabilities to take this short survey about what family resources they use and how they are involved with DODD during the past year. The results will inform DODD about how to best support families in 2020.

AMC Sensory Friendly Films
  • Second and Fourth Saturdays of every month are family friendly sensory showings.
  • Tuesday evenings of every month are sensory friendly showings for mature audiences.
Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)
The Home Energy Assistance Program provides eligible low-income Ohioans with a one-time payment to help them meet the high costs of heating their homes. Payments are made directly to regulated and unregulated utilities.
Who Is Eligible?
  • Total household income must be at or below 175% of federal poverty guidelines
  • Clients can only receive emergency assistance once a year during the heating season
