CTHULHU ALPHABET OPEN FOR PRE-ORDER!
Secure your copy of the newest Alphabet sourcebook!
The third book in the Alphabet series is now ready for pre-order!  The Cthulhu Alphabet  is an organized book of madness that you can incorporate into any role-playing game,  Dungeon Crawl Classics  or otherwise!

The Cthulhu Alphabet  is a collection of random tables to inspire your role-playing game, structured around an abecedarian theme. If you are a player navigating an uncaring universe, a haunted setting, or a horror-filled dungeon, you will find new ideas for your character and adventures. And if you are a game master creating scenarios set in the Cthulhu Mythos—or in any fantastic world—you will find every page bursting with ideas. Your brain will spark on every page, whether you roll randomly for inspiration or read the tables in order.

The Cthulhu Alphabet  follows the format first popularized by Goodman Games in  The Dungeon Alphabet . The entries are in alphabetical order, and each concerns one aspect of the Cthulhu mythos. Each entry contains a mix of inspirational text and one or more random tables.

What’s more,  The Cthulhu Alphabet  will be available in FOUR different covers—each one coming with a PDF version! You can choose the  Standard Color Cover  with artwork by Erol Otus, the  Bronze Foil Cover  with artwork by Brad McDevitt, the  Cerulean Foil Cover  with artwork by Stefan Poag, or the  Leather Bound Edition  with artwork by Peter Mullen.

THE LEOPARD WOMEN OF VENUS ARE CALLING ALL DCC FANS!
A weird and wonderful sci-fi setting for DCC RPG !
12 DAYS TO GO!
You may not have ever heard the name Fletcher Hanks before. That’s because he was a Golden Age comic artist who never saw great success. Many years later, however, his legacy was discovered…such as it is. And the folks at JLHB Polytechnic are bringing him to you in the form of  The Leopard Women of Venus .

The Leopard Women of Venus  is a new third-party Kickstarter for use with  Dungeon Crawl Classics , creating a wild vision of a science-fiction world unlike anything else.

Inspired by a Fletcher Hanks story starring Space Smith,  The Leopard Women of Venus  answers many questions, such as “Why are there Leopard Women on Venus?” and “Who else lives on Venus?” It’s the exact type of weird and wonderful world that fits in perfectly with  DCC RPG .

Here’s what the Kickstarter tells you to expect:
Leopard Women of Venus  is heavily inspired by pulp fiction and foundational fantasy authors like Edgar Rice Burroughs; committed to instilling a mixture of awe, wonder, and horror; and extremely dangerous for player characters.

Inside the book you’ll find:
  • The Leopard Woman class and their powerful augments
  • Clear guidelines for how DCC character classes function on Venus
  • Two patrons, Stardust the Super-Wizard and Fantomah, complete with spells
  • A list of 100 Venusian occupations useful for creating 0-level characters
  • A 0-level funnel, “Saucerful of Secrets”
  • A 1st-level adventure, “The Mines of the Moglugs”
  • Fantastical sci-fi gear and equipment
  • Random tables to generate countless springboards for adventure
  • The Magnificent Moglug Maker
  • And much more!

Joshua LH Burnett and the folks at JLHB Polytechnic are no strangers to  DCC RPG . They’ve already produced the popular  Crepuscular  zine, which features the amazingly-wacky  Sanctum of the Snail  adventure, so you know exactly the quality they can produce.
EXPERIENCE THE HOUSE OF RED DOORS!
A one-on-one adventure for DCC RPG !
17 DAYS TO GO!
Another third-party DCC Kickstarter has appeared as well! Psychoda Press and James A. Pozenel, Jr are bringing you  The House of the Red Doors .

Described as a more intimate adventure,  The House of the Red Doors  is is a funnel that can be used for tournament play or it can level up a peasant for campaign play. It is one player adventure that requires a Judge.

That’s right, this is a one-on-one adventure. One Judge, one player. The adventure involves a lot of puzzle-solving and can be played in less than half an hour. It’s a different beast for  DCC RPG !

Head on over to  The House of the Red Doors   DCC Kickstarter to find out more!
GOODMAN NEWS
COME SEE US AT THE LONG CON AND METATOPIA!
Plus Judge Brendan will be at Dragon's Lair in LA!
The Goodman train just keeps rolling along! We’ve got two more shows we’ll be at this weekend, and Judge Brendan will be making some in-store appearances as well.

In New Jersey, you can find Goodman Games set up at  The Metatopia 2019 Game Design Festival . This is not your typical gaming convention, but more of an open forum for game designers and creators to test and discuss new products and projects with like-minded individuals.

Look for Jim Crocker to be there with Goodman Games materials for  DCC RPG  fans to experience and enjoy! You might even find a couple of new surprises that he brought along.

Down in Texas, Goodman Games will be back at  The Long Con ! Judge Brendan will be in attendance to run  Dungeon Crawl Classics Xcrawl , and who knows what else over the course of the show. The Long Con is an RPG-centric show, so it’s the perfect home for fans of  DCC RPG  to come together and roll some dice.

Plus, just after The Long Con, Brendan will be making an in-store appearance! You can find Brendan at the following location:

1240 Shreveport Barksdale Hwy, Bossier City, LA 71111
Monday, Nov 11th, 1 pm – 5 pm

Goodman Games is taking Fall by storm—but the good kind of storm. Not the destructive type. We’re creating joy, people! And we’ll see you this weekend!
TWO CON RECAP!
Revisiting Gamehole Con and Carnage-22!
At Carnage-22 there was lots of gaming and lots of fun for all as they came by the Goodman Games booth to find the latest releases. It was a DCC RPG extravaganza, with a touch of Fifth Edition Fantasy and Original Adventures Reincarnated thrown in for good measure!

Gamehole Con 2019 was another fabulous show in the series. The city of Madison, WI welcomed Goodman Games with open arms…and a touch of snow. The weather didn’t daunt the gamers, though, and the tables were filled with many fans rolling dice and enjoying  DCC RPG  with Judge Brendan and others. (And some got to see Judge Brendan’s costumes that included our Dark Master, Joseph Goodman.)

SUPPORT SOLDIERS, DICE, AND DRAGONS!
Charity event this weekend
Soldiers, Dice, & Dragons  is an annual one-day game convention that takes place on Veteran’s Day weekend at Clarksburg Elementary School, located in the farthest reaches of Western Massachusetts.

The convention’s mission is to raise awareness of veteran homelessness through the power of our gaming communities. Founded by Michael Little and run by students of Clarksburg Elementary and other schools, in just three years they have raised almost $10,000 and collected over 4,000 basic necessities, such as soap, shampoo, shaving cream, toothbrushes, boots, blankets, and jackets, to name but a few.

The admission fee for the convention on Saturday, November 9 is to donate basic necessities, like the ones listed above.
FIFTH EDITION FANTASY AROUND THE WORLD!
FEF in Brazil!
Recently, Galápagos Jogos—the company that is responsible for bringing  D&D 5e official core books (Portuguese version) to Brazil—held a convention in São Paulo at the Museum of Image and Sound. And Goodman Games was there thanks to Sagen Editora.

Sagen Editora organized fifty games using  Fifth Edition Fantasy  books. That’s right—FIFTY games. It was a huge success, and they received a ton of positive response from the fans. It seems that  Fifth Edition Fantasy  is a big hit in the southern hemisphere, and we couldn’t be happier!

A huge thanks to Sagen Editora for bringing  Fifth Edition Fantasy  to the show, and being an important part of this event.

DCC AROUND THE WORLD!
The UK Road Crew!
The UK convention scene is growing. For many years Great Britain has been blessed with a plethora of small one day conventions and ‘game days’ around the bigger events like  UK Games Expo and Dragonmeet . With the recent growth in these events, it feels like a weekend rarely goes by without someone posting a session report or a review of a convention. It’s a great time for Road Crew judges to get out and run some games!

We've got details on events at The Owlbear and The Wizard's Staff 2019 event, BurritoCon4, and Spaghetti ConJunction 3b.

Road Crew regulars Judge Bruce and Judge Andy were on hand at the events to show off DCC and all the fun that goes along with it.

DCC AROUND THE WORLD!
The Doom Gong at Essen Spiel!
Essen Spiel is the largest gaming convention in the world, and we’re proud to say that  Dungeon Crawl Classics  was on hand for the world to see. Our publishing partners in Germany—System Matters Verlag—were at the game fair, showing off DCC RPG in style. Including their own version of The Gong of Doom!

That’s right, there are now TWO Gong of Dooms, each on a different continent! System Matters Verlag created their own Doom Gong to celebrate their  publishing agreement with Goodman Games to produce a German-language edition of DCC RPG , and it was in the booth at Essen Spiel. (Oh, and if you like, you can go ahead and  pre-order your copy of the German edition today !)

Many a game of  DCC  was held in Germany during Essen Spiel, and some of them were directly in front of the gong! The  DCC  takeover of Europe is just beginning!
RECENT RELEASES
NOW IN THE ONLINE STORE: RAT SNAKE!
Play a game from the world of Lankhmar!
But the Mouser had made his throw, and the odd dice of Lankhmar had stopped with the matching symbols of the eel and the serpent uppermost, and he was raking in triangular golden coins.
—“The Bleak Shore” by Fritz Leiber
You might have heard about our recent  DCC Lankhmar  release. It’s a wonderfully in-depth take on the classic novels by Fritz Lieber, and licensed by his estate.

If you are a fan of those novels, you might have heard of something called Rat-Snake . In the back alleys of the city of Lankhmar, money is won and lost, and lives are sometimes wagered as the ultimate prize, all on the roll of the dice. All part of a game called Rat-Snake .

Here at Goodman Games, we didn’t want to just publish a map and rules, we wanted to bring Lankhmar to life. And we’ve got the dice to prove it. We’ve got  Rat-Snake , the game itself, in our online store!

Distilled from the novels and stories, we’ve created a Rat-Snake dice game that we feel would make Fritz proud. Rat-Snake is a gambling game that requires two six-sided dice to play. Serious Rat-Snake players use specialized dice inscribed with the image of a rat on the one-pip face and a snake on the six-pip face. Our version is a tube containing eight such dice and a rules booklet for Rat-Snake .
And while we're talking about dice....

Be sure to  check out all the dice  that we have in stock right now! We’ve got a great selection of various dice for you to choose from. Just check a few of them out below!
Available in multiple colors.
