All summer long, we’ll be out and about—dropping in on members, visiting businesses, and staying connected with what’s happening across Cowichan. If you’ve got something going on, we want to know about it! Hosting an event? Running a promotion? Just want to show us around your shop?

We’re also starting to plan for the upcoming year, starting this fall, and we want your input.
What kinds of events, workshops, or mixers would you find most valuable?

Next up is at Unsworth Vineyards, where you can enjoy a relaxed summer evening on their tasting room patio, surrounded by vines, gardens, and the easy charm that makes this spot a local favourite.
Wood-fired pizza will be coming out hot, the wine will be perfectly chilled, and the setting couldn’t be better for kicking back and catching up.

Contact the UVic Business Law Clinic today! UVic’s Business Law Clinic (“BLC”), founded in 1998, is staffed by upper year students who work to provide legal research on topics related to corporate law for entrepreneurs, community organizations, and small businesses in the community.
Students taking the BLC Course work directly with clients like you to conduct research on various topics, including but not limited to: contract law, corporate and commercial transactions, business associations, small business operations, non-profit management, employment and labour standards, intellectual property, import/export issues. This summer, make space at home—and make a difference in your community.
Habitat for Humanity Mid-Vancouver Island is hosting Pop-Up Donation Drop events at Bings Creek, giving Cowichan residents an easy, impactful way to support local affordable housing while keeping reusable materials out of the landfill.
Bring your new or gently-used building materials, appliances, or home décor and donate them directly onsite. Items collected support Habitat’s ReStores, where proceeds fund local housing projects for families in need.
Accepted items include:
Appliances (under 10 years), cabinetry, furniture in good condition, tools, hardware, home décor, doors, flooring, fixtures, and more.
