DCCF Awards $11,000 in Grants to Five Local Child and Family Organizations

(DCCF) recently awarded $11,000 in grants, through its Hope for Children Fund , to  five  local organizations dedicated to helping children and families. 
Hope for Children Fund grant recipients provide the children of Delaware County, who have been impacted by abuse and neglect, with a safe environment to advance their emotional and physical health, stability and resiliency.
Grants were awarded to Child Guidance Resource Centers, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Youth Advocates, Family Support Line (FSL), Support Center for Child Advocates, and Support Center for Child Advocates. Read More

For more than 25 years, Family Support Line has helped children, families and professionals address the trauma of child sexual abuse. The organization's services include comprehensive prevention programs; specialized treatment; professional training; and advocacy. 
Last year, Family Support Line opened the Delaware County Children's Advocacy Center. The Center brings together law enforcement, child protection agencies, prosecutors, mental health and medical professionals, and victim advocates to work together when investigating allegations of child sexual abuse in Delaware County. By coordinating investigations, the Center is able to provide a victim-focused response to abuse so children and families are able to heal. Read More
