November is buzzing here at DCI! With Mamma Mia! performances starting tonight, a community potluck next Tuesday, and with Winter ACE registration on the horizon, there are many opportunities for students and families to get involved before and after Thanksgiving!
Before we break for Thanksgiving, we encourage you to sign up for and participate in your student’s Student-led Conference (SLCs) taking place on Monday, November 25th and Tuesday, November 26th. The conferences this year will all be conducted virtually via Zoom. You can sign up today, if you have not already done so; the deadline to reserve your preferred time slot is 3:30 PM, Tuesday, November 19.
We firmly believe that when students are actively involved in their educational journey, they become more motivated and engaged learners. SLCs are the embodiment of DCI’s belief in student agency, which is that students should have a say in their education. Your presence in SLCs is powerful and we are excited to celebrate your student’s achievements so far this school year!
