Dear DCI School Community,

We are full of anticipation for the upcoming school year! Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming our incoming 9th graders during their orientation. The energy and excitement were palpable as these students took their first steps into high school life at DCI.

Tomorrow, we look forward to greeting our newest Dragons – our incoming 6th graders – at their orientation. We can't wait to introduce them to the vibrant DCI community and help them embark on their middle school journey.

As we eagerly anticipate welcoming our students back on Monday, August 26th, we have some exciting updates to share. Earlier this week, we sent out a comprehensive email with essential information to help you prepare for the new academic year. Here are some key highlights:

1. Updates to the Student & Family Handbook: We have made a few updates to the Student & Family Handbook – please take a moment to review. Key updates include a correction to the dress code (an outdated version of our policy was included in the original publication of this school year’s handbook and it has been updated) and a revision to our Restorative Justice policy. 2. New Entrance and Breakfast Locations:
3. Middle school students: Enter through Aspen Street lobby; breakfast in G6 cafe
4. High school students: Enter through main cafe doors or Main Drive door; breakfast in main cafe
5. Scheduling: Access your student's schedule through Home Access Center (HAC). For schedule changes or login issues, please use the provided forms.
6. For schedule change requests: Please complete this form. 
7. For username and/or or password resets: Please complete this form. 
8. New Learning Management System: We're transitioning from ManageBac to Toddle. Stay tuned for family information sessions!
9. SafeArrival: A new system for reporting and tracking student attendance will be implemented soon. More information to follow next week!
10. School Lunch: Available at $4.25 per meal. Breakfast and after-school snacks remain free.
11. Bell Schedules: New schedules are now available: Middle School and High School.
