Join Drive Clean Indiana for our 2026 Stakeholder Breakfast, an exclusive gathering of coalition members, industry leaders, policymakers, and clean transportation advocates. Held during NTEA’s Work Truck Week, this annual event offers a valuable opportunity to network, celebrate accomplishments, and explore the future of American energy in Indiana and beyond.
We're excited to offer exhibit tables this year to our sponsors. However, space is limited! If you're interested, please claim your spot and register as soon as possible!

Chris Li
Position: Intern
School: Indiana University Northwest
Hometown: Griffith, IN
Major: Accounting
Why DCI?: I wanted to work at Drive Clean Indiana because I was interested in understanding how nonprofit organizations operate. I thought it would be a great hands-on opportunity to see the behind-the-scenes work that goes into making a difference in communities, and I wanted a different change of pace from the corporate, profit-driven side of my major. This gives me the opportunity to gain more experience in a mission-oriented environment.
What do you hope to learn during this internship?: This is my first formal office job, so I hope to learn how to adapt to a professional work environment and contribute to the cause. I’ve also been learning about what happens behind the scenes in municipal operations, and I want to continue gaining a deeper understanding of how these systems work. These are things I used to take for granted, so it’s been eye-opening to see the amount of coordination that goes into keeping a community running smoothly.
What are some of your future goals?: My future goals are to get my CPA license and move to Chicago or New York. Eventually, I do want to move out of the United States, either in China with my parents or Japan with my girlfriend's family.
Fun Fact: I paid my college tuition using profits from a business I owned in high school.

Biodiesel is a liquid fuel often referred to as B100 or neat biodiesel in its pure, unblended form. Like petroleum diesel, biodiesel is used to fuel compression-ignition engines, which run on petroleum diesel.

Senators Urge EPA to Back Rules Favoring US-Grown Biofuels Over Imports
"U.S. Senator Todd Young (R-Ind.) and a group of bipartisan lawmakers have called on the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to finalize its proposed rule regarding imported Renewable Identification Numbers (RINs) and maintain the agency’s suggested levels for biomass-based diesel volumes."
“'At a time when many farmers are struggling to break even, all federal biofuels policies should prioritize domestic agriculture and biofuel production, not foreign fuels made from foreign feedstocks. Additionally, while farmers face the uncertainty of foreign market demand, the Import RIN reduction would provide essential support for the farm economy so farmers could sell more products domestically,' the members wrote."
