Professional Questions:

How long have you been a Drive Clean Indiana Board Member?

I've been on the board since 2006.

Why did you join the DCI Board?

In my full-time role as Customer Relations/Public Information Manager for the Clean Air Car Check vehicle emissions testing program and as a DCI Board Member, I am able to advocate for and educate the public about the many ways we can improve air quality.

What is your role/contribution to the coalition as a DCI Board Member?

I think I may be the longest-standing board member of DCI. In my years of service, I’ve served on multiple committees, including Education and Outreach and Policy/Legislative.

What DCI event do you enjoy the most?

The annual meeting is always a great opportunity to learn and network.

Get to Know Jennifer:

What is something not many people know about you?

I love to be active! I run half-marathons, and I play in a women's indoor soccer league.

How do you spend your time outside of work?

Our family loves to travel, and we are working our way through visiting all of the U.S. National Parks. We have been to 21 out of 63 so far.

Coffee or tea?

Tea, I've actually never had coffee. I don't like the smell of it.

What's a movie or TV show you've watched recently that you'd recommend?

I don't spend much time watching television, but I highly recommend Ted Lasso for a funny and heart-warming watch.

What is something you're looking forward to?

Fall is my favorite season, so I'm excited about this time of year. I'm looking forward to the changing leaves, cooler temps, and all the fun fall activities with the family.

September Highlighted Fuel

Natural gas is a domestically produced alternative fuel that is readily available to end-users through the utility infrastructure. It can produce significantly fewer harmful emissions than gasoline or diesel when used in natural gas vehicles.

Natural gas is a mixture of hydrocarbons, predominantly methane (CH4). As delivered through the pipeline system, it also contains hydrocarbons such as ethane, propane, and other gases such as nitrogen, helium, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, and water vapor.
